At He Ahi eco business park, all tenants work with our experienced team of engineers, consultants, architects and builders to create an eco-friendly and fit-for-purpose building. From the earliest sessions within the design and collaboration process we look to design simply and efficiently - a minimalist view helps to reduce materials and utilise space cleverly.

He Ahi is being tailored to facilitate the use of geothermal energy for small to moderate scale heat users. Utilising existing assets owned and operated by Contact Energy means the capital cost of new connections are minimised. Tenants can easily access the world class Tauhara Geothermal Field to access low carbon, renewable energy at competitive energy prices. See video for more details.

Tauhara land is highly prized to the hapū of Te Pae o Waimihia and is prime real estate in central Taupō. As sworn kaitiaki of our environment and natural resources these values are rerflected in every process and build within the park. We also draw on the concept of the quadruple bottom-line for business and the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Parks.
