Te Pae o Waimihia is investing in a range of projects that are designed to create opportunities and wealth-building for its member hapū, future generations, and the Taupō district. An active investment committee provides guidance and structure to the park's development.

Adjacent to He Ahi is another project by Te Pae o Waimihia – He Tipu. Set on 20 hectares of conservation reserve, He Tipu encompasses multiple enterprises focused on environmental, social, and cultural outcomes. The aim is to showcase how an industrial park can co-exist harmoniously alongside a native plant nursery, wetlands, and food-growing crops.
